OK check back if your problems remain after you've installed the hotfixes.
Don't worry, Thomas ... I vouch for the man.

Now, inForma 😉, as you know I had the infamous zero height wall problem - and the moment I changed it to something other than zero the export worked (from 10, did not have any troubles in 11).

Try the famous thing: all layers off. Then one on. 3D. Export. That one off, the next one on. Export ...

... when the snow finally melts, you might nail it. I don't think it has anything to do with the machine.

Oh what fun for a year end! I too have had inordinate trouble getting the Artlantis export option to show: Having followed all the advice I could find on this forum, including changing the .bundle extension to .apx (thank you Pierre Judde), substituting Ignacio's add-ons (thank you Ignacio), and inserting a 'PkgInfo' file into the extension contents file (thank you Ralph Wessel) - all with their computer restarts ........... I still had no success.

The solution that has worked for me is to:

1. Save user profiles / templates / preferences / etc.
2. Remove 'offending' ArtlantisR-Studio_Out.bundle from Import-Export folder in 'Add-Ons' folder
3. Reinstall AC11 from the original CD (archive & install),
4. Install AC11-1114 update
5. Bingo! .........it works (for me, for now...)
6. Re-instate profiles / templates / preferences / etc

If it can help circumvent the above, the working file is attached for download...

Good luck & Happy New Year,
PB

PS: I have also posted this reply to the two other threads treating the same subject (sorry, don't know how to add the appropriate link here).

Using Ac12 now (Mactel, USA) - still this issue rears its ugly head. We cannot export a single Archicad file to artlantis 1.2 or 2.0. Even with NO LIBRARY PARTS, nothing but a single slab - here is a .MOD file attached - can anyone else export this to an .ATL file successfully? This problem is really driving us all nuts. I have also posted on the Artlantis forums and have sent this .MOD file directly to Alain...

Placing your module into a blank AC 12 project, creating a 3D view and then exporting to Artlantis 2.0 - "cannot write output". Its the schnitz.

But otherwise the process is flawless.

Can you open the .mod directly (not into a file) and export directly? I suspect this may be related to some offending attribute names then.... still, it should be abvent's responsibility to remedy n'est pas?

I had some instances of backslashes in my layer names - and asterisks in my material names. Once I removed these characters, and tried again - presto, Artlantis file. If anyone else has these problems, delete weird characters.

Thanks for the tip Gabor Kovacs from GS....

You have never worked in DOS, did you?

Forget the slashes and asterisks. Dashes letters numbers spaces. That's it.
