On our code information sheet we have a table that takes our zone information and breaks it our into room name, number, area, occupancy classification, occupancy load factor, and total room occupants. We use this to determine other code analysis information.
Ever since we upgraded to v16 we’ve noticed that if we change the square footage of a zone all of the information updates except the total occupants. We have only be able to get this to update if after we change the zone we do an “update zones” operation. Now, the total will change if we change the load factor too.
So, as long as remember to update zones before we do any code calculations we’re fine. The hard part is remembering (since we didn’t have to in v12).
