So....working on a large custom home.
The structural engineer has sent me the DWG's and the PDFs for his design.
What's the best approach to using his (the structural engineers) information so I can accurately create/via objects the framing plan (steel columns, steel beams, PSL wood members, wood posts 6x6) etc...into my model?

Do I create a worksheet, hotlink his DWG or....?
Do I simply use his PDFs as rough backgrounds for locations of his structure?
And if I bring in his DWG, wont that add to the layers on my model?
