Window Legend/Types - How to create custom?

ArchiCAD comes with a generic window legend. I'd like to create one (maybe using that as a starting point) that I can customize. How do I go about doing this? Generic one attached.

I'd like it to only show the view from the exterior, currently it shows the interior and exterior overlaid.

Also, is there a way to exclude some windows from this legend? I have some existing windows I don't want to show up.

I also want to change font etc.

Thank you,

Ok, after a bit of digging I found out how to exclude certain doors/windows from a schedule. Very helpful.

I will dig more and see what I can come up with...

Ok, I was able to somewhat achieve what I want using the schedule tool. It looks ok. The one huge problem I have with it is that whenever you click on it or go to the sheet it's on it takes a huge amount of time to update itself. Schedules are sooooo slow. You should be able to achieve something like this as a list, correct?

How are people doing window types? Do you create them in the schedule? Does anyone use element lists?
