I was planning to download and try to place one of my project models, but after reading about the problems and workarounds, am just plain discouraged.

I don't use sketchup either, and am not too excited about learning another program.....and fighting with AC to get the terrain in......I suppose I should embrace the opportunity to learn all this new exciting stuff.....here we go again.

Tom,

Don't get discouraged by all of the comments below ... most of which concern workarounds for Mac users and experiments converting terrain to the new Morph. As far as I know, the 32 bit Windows add-ons should work fine for you, similar to the old ones you used.

The only hassle, if you are using 64 bit AC, is that you'll want to install 32 bit AC also on your system to get full GE functionality. Do all of your work other than when you need Google Earth in the 64 bit version.

Another problem is that the Archicad 15 & 16 installers will not let you install a 32 bit version on a 64 bit system.
Worked fine for 14.
And 16 is going to be the last 32 bit version.

Hi, I was trying to jump through the loops of the process and it worked quite well, until the point I wanted to view my project on Google earth.
Even though the project was properly geolocated on Archicad, when saving the model as .skp and clicking the "preview on google earth" button the model was placed in a totally wrong location.

What Im doing wrong?

Why are you saving to a .skp file? I don't see that in the AC help. It appears to me that you would simply send to Google Earth through the GE dialogue box.
