creating 3D Adobe PDF documents

Does anyone have any experience with using Adobe Acrobat 3D software for creating 3D .pdf files from ArchiCAD.
I find this exciting, and it works with ArchiCAD by simply pressing the PrintScreen key while in 3d window... althoght not perfectly.

The geometry is somewhat distorted (the whole building inclined) and so are the textures and the lights are so dark.
See what I got with it, the file is attached.
If anyone got results better than this please let me know.

Save the 3D as U3D file first.

Then, when publishing, show it to the Publisher ...

I actually tried exporting it as U3D in the meantime.
It works better indeed.
Thanks Djordje!

anyone else wish to share their 3D PDFs??

Akos Can you repost your new PDF for us to see?

I assume this can only be done in AC10 and not 9?

Sure, here it is.
I think you can not export U3D from AC9, that's the difficulty.
Otherwise it should work from AC9 with 'PrintScreen' method but the results are not great as shown on my previous post.
Maybe it's worth keep experimenting if you're stuck with AC9.
Not sure about mac support neither, sorry about that.

When I view your PDF it initially shows up o.k. (left image) but when I click on it to rotate (cursor is a pointing finger) it changes to image on right. It does rotate / navigate but with no light at all.

s2art .. check you have the latest update for Acrobat perhaps? I've tried this file on 2 machines here with the current build (7.0.8 ) and its fine, but on a machine with 7.0.5(or .4? ) i had the same problem you show.

Updating as i speak so will let you know if this fixes the problem.

AKAIK ArchiCAD 10 on Mac cannot export these ... something to do with the native OS X PDF drivers?
cheers,

...also if you download a 30-day tryout of Adobe Acrobat 3D from here:
http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat3d/tryout.html
you can watch the 3D cross section of it as well.
