how do i add a 3d model to my model created in archicad 11?

the site model i have has been created in sketch up ... therefor 3ds , dwg all formats are possible . how do i import this model into the model file im working on in archicad 11.

file>file special>import 3D studio file.

You do need to have installed the goodies that include the 3D studio import/export addon.

go to the help menu if it is not on your installation CD and click on goodies to download it for your platform.

IMHO you should develop the skill of creating a file using the mesh tool.

As I recall Architerra can read and convert 3D DWG terrain models from AutoCAD Civil into ArchiCAD meshes.
