saving from V10 to dwg

I'm trying to save to a dwg from V 10. I pull the view from the layout book to the publisher list and then publish. Only 1 hatch (25%) that I can tell is going to solid once I open the file in autocad. Has anyone else had this problem and how do I fix it?

I t was (I think) because I started with a V9 file and opened it in V10 and saved and started working. It worked fine when I started with our V10 template.
