LAYOUT_CHANGE_HISTORY

i start to work with LAYOUT_CHANGE_HISTORY.
Documantation says that:
LAYOUT_CHANGE_HISTORY [1] is Revision ID and
LAYOUT_CHANGE_HISTORY [2] is Change ID ....

The Change ID only works correct, when in "Book Settings", the Option "Number by Revisions" is activated.
Is the an workaround, so that i always get the Change ID ? It would help to create a more reliable object indeopendend of the Book Settings?

When not, is there a way to request the state of this option?
thx

Hi FST_Berlin,

You mixed up row/column in your question (just correcting this so others understand too):
LAYOUT_CHANGE_HISTORY [1] is Revision ID and
LAYOUT_CHANGE_HISTORY [2] is Change ID.

You can only get the change ID as listed in the Layout Revisions dialog.
As a workaround you can add a new field to the change scheme which can contain a manually entered ID.
