open view in same location as layout crop

Hello.

I'd like to be able to open the view as cropped in my layout sheet.

We have multiple plans generated from a single saved view -  ie different apartment layouts on the same floor.

but when accessing the view from the layout it would be really useful to open the view with the same zoom / in the same location as the layout sheet.

the only way i can see of doing this would be to create multiple different views of the same storey but this would lead to unnecessary replication of saved views.
