License Delivery maintenance is expected to occur on Saturday, November 30, between 8 AM and 11 AM CET. This may cause a short 3-hours outage in which license-related tasks: license key upload, download, update, SSA validation, access to the license pool and Graphisoft ID authentication may not function properly. We apologize for any inconvenience.

3d documents - making consistent

Hi
I'm on AC17.

Say I set up 10 3d documents with different perspective views. I then decide I want to change the shadow colour, the transparency of the windows, and the cut fill setting, which I do on one of the 3d documents.

How do I then copy those style changes so that all of the other 3d documents have the same settings without having to laboriously do them all one at a time?

The redefine 3d document option seems to replace everything and is not as far as I can see, very helpful...?

thank you!

Just select them all and edit the common settings. Be careful though... it cannot be undone. Be sure NOT to use ANY of the "redefine...." buttons, as they will change the point of view and/or shown elements for all you documents. Limit your changes to pens and fills.

The redefine option is useful when you are changing some things that cannot be set through the dialog, such as the engine used, or if you prefer to define the position graphically instead of numerically in the "redefine 3d projections" button.

Best regards.
