AC12: More Problems with Dimensions

Since moving to AC12, we've been having problems with Dimensions disappearing from Detail windows -- see this post.

Now we're having problems with Dimension Text moving itself around. Text of Dimension Chains, that are set to the default position, are shifting a number of feet away from that default position (see attached for example) -- this is a TW project, and the shifting usually takes place immediately following a Send and Receive. I've also had reports of Witness Lines moving, while the Dimension Points stay in place.

Anyone else experience this???

Yes, we were experiencing this in AC11 (at my old employer). I thought this was fixed in AC12???

I personally haven't experienced this since.

Huh -- we NEVER had a problem [with this] in AC11.

I seen my share of dimension quirkiness, but I haven't seen this in my own nor any of my clients' practices (since AC3.43).

I realize this is unlikely, but by any chance were these views saved when
Options>Project Preferences>Dimensions
had Revert all dimension Text to Automatic Position checked?

Wouldn't this have the opposite effect -- text that had been manually moved reverting back to the default position?

Yes. Your screenshot looked like it had gone back to default. Did I misunderstand?

Just the opposite -- Text in DEFAULT position has been MOVING.

Wow, not good, assume you have logged a bug report?
