AC13 : different zone representations available ?!

I visited an AC13 presentation yesterday and I've seen the instructor playing around with different representations for zones (f.e. option 1 = name + m2, option 2 = name + number + finishing, ...) without modifications of the zone itself! This looks very handy but I cannot reproduce it myself. I assumed to find it in the Model View Options. Am I missing something or could this be a local library (Dutch) specific item?

Use the REQUEST function to get the zone info. Details are on page 252 of the GDL manual.

I've spend hours reading/re-reading example zone scripts but I finally succeeded showing the ID number with the TEXT2 command (GLOB_ID), additional styles and prefix text included. No REQUEST function needed

The new Library Global-option is responsible for that zone marker display.

The new feature works like this:
A special new object Library Global object is loaded in the library and contains a User Interface which shows in the Model View Options Combination and all the desired options in that view. You can set and save the options in the Model View Options Combinations and use that in every view.
The zone request the used options at that moment (like a normal request) and modifies the appearance of the zone.
