Hello!
I just discovered what I presume is a bug with the adjust command. Searching the forum I see that this might be a recurring bug, although I'm not sure it's the same behaviour.
For me, the adjust commands cuts quite randomly instead of removing the shorter part of the line as it has done before. I haven't been able to figure out any pattern in what side is removed, neither length, number of nodes, line direction nor side selected seems to affect it.
I have no issues with adjusting the polyline to make it longer.
Kind regards
Kaj

Can you show an image of the polyline and what you want to adjust it to?

Hi Barry!
Here are two polylines that both adjust to the shorter part, when adjusted to the green/gray border (the meeting of two fills).
EDIT: I took a printscreen of the "after" as well

Thanks for that.
If you are adjusting to a line or open poyline, it seems that it keeps the portion of the polyline that is on the left side of that line you adjusting to.
So you need to know which direction the line was drawn.
If you are adjusting to a closed polyline (and I assume that applies for fills, slabs, meshes, etc.), it seems to keep the portion that is inside the closed polygon.
Is that what you are finding?
If you are trimming to a straight edge, I think I would use the 'split' command and keep the bit you want to delete selected so you can simply delete it.
Split doesn't work for polylines adjusting to a curve - only lines adjusting to a curve.
And if you split to a straight edge it will split everything selected to that one edge - can't split to a multi-faceted edge.
Barry.

Ah, great, thank you!
That would probably be the reason! I just couldn't figure out why it was behaving like it did. Would you have a guess to what happens when two fills share the same edge?

I have no idea what the logic is there.
It is not the last fill drawn and it does not seem to matter what direction the fills were drawn either.
And it seems to have nothing to do with display order.
And nothing to do with the larger/smaller part of the polyline being adjusted.
So for now it is still a mystery.
Barry.

Oh well, I've always liked a good mystery. Thank you for your assistance!
