Hi guys
I'm having issues when using the Fillet/Chamfer command on a Railing object. The result doesn't seems right.
I would expect the same results as when using it with all other tools (like wall, polylines, beams, slabs,...)
As a workaround I usually draw a polyline, apply the fillet and than use magic wand with the railing tool but this is not the ideal workflow.
Any other tip to solve this?

I have never even thought about using a fillet on a railing.
I would place nodes where I want the posts and then just curve the corner with the curve option in the pet palette.
Or magic want to an already curved slab.
You can also play around with offsetting corner posts and curving the end connections.
All you need to do with the fillet in this case is to drag one node back to form the corner.
For some reason it does not affect the position of one of the nodes like it does with lines.
You could always report this as a bug to your local support if you want to.
Barry.

You would have to measure all of the nodes for any corner that is not 90 degrees though... Hopefully the OP does not have many of those.
Ling.
ps. I have never thought to fillet a railing either, they are always based on some other element...
