I am using AC 28.3.0 on macOS Sequoia on an M3 MacBook Pro. I have been having difficulty getting any skylight object to show up in the section view. All I see is the hole in the roof. It appears to be set to a simplified setting somewhere, but I cannot find where to adjust it that I haven’t already set. The detail skylight is visible in 3D. It is also a simplified view in Plan View.
Solved! Go to Solution.

Thank you, that is a good idea. I tried that and changed it to new and back, and then again to demo and back. Unfortunately, it didn't help in this case.

Hi SPR8364,
That's right in the 28 version there's no "Detail Level" specific menu in the settings but you can find them in the All Parameters one.

Hi BrunoH,
Merci, I tried that option also, and for some reason, changing that parameter did not change the section or plan appearance. I tried all four setting options in 2D and 3D, and the view stayed the same.

We'll I'm embarrassed to say that I figured out what the problem was. It was definitely user error. There is a setting under MVO "Construction Element Options". The skylight was set to "Show Opening Only" instead of "Show Entire Skylight". Thank you, everyone, for your suggestions. I had no idea there were so many ways to hide a skylight from view.

Oops, I forgot about that. Glad that you managed to figure it out.
