Acrobat 8.1 Pro not compatible with ArchiCAD 11 ?

I discovered this morning when I upgraded to Adobe Acrobat 8.1 that I could not import the .pdf's in to ArchiCAD 11.

If anyone else has Adobe Acrobat 8.1 Pro ( or the demo of it) can you print a .pdf file with it and then bring it into ArchiCAD 11 as an external drawing? I can't do it. All I get is a blank drawing. No .pdf.

I have no problem with any .pdf's I made with it before.

My Amyuni .pdf's made with ArchiCAD 11 work, except I am having trouble with them coming in at the wrong scale. Still checking it out.

Steve,

What happens if you save the PDF down a version? I seem to remeber this as on option in my Acrobat 7 (it's at work so I can not confirm this right now).

I will try that.

It does seem to work just fine with the Adobe Acrobat 8.0 files. It was only after I installed the 8.1 upgrade this morning that it started acting up. All of my old files made with 8.0 are fine.

I think i can undo the last upgrade if i need to.

To complicate matters further, I made a .pdf with the amyuni, opened it with Adobe 8.1, saved it as a. Adobe 8.1 file. Both work fine.

Now I can not even make .pdf's with Adobe 8.1 from ArchiCAD 11.
i think I have screwed something up.

I will have to wait until my upgrade CD's for 11 get here (scheduled to arrive on the 18th) to reinstall.

No more problems.

I reinstalled ArchiCAD 11 and Adobe Acrobat 8.1 and it works great now.
Probably just some settings I screwed up.
