Am I correct in saying in ArchiCAD 28 to display MEP ductwork and pipework in a Schematic way there isn't just a simple setting in Model View Options?
I have found a Youtube tutorial which makes use of Pensets and Graphic Overides to get it done but that seems like quite a faff. Have Graphisoft fixed it in ArchiCAD 29?
Heres the link to the workaround tutorial

You are correct. Either upgrade to 29, or use that, let's say, trick.
The main benefit of 29 is that you also get symbols for valves, fans, meters, etc. It's not quite there yet if you are strict with your representation, but it's getting there. Probably 30 will be much better, looking at the things they are working on the roadmap.

Thanks for the reply. I’ll encourage our IT chap to upgrade to AC29
Monday
Ah but AC29 Studio doesn't have the MEP Toolset, so staying in AC28
