Automatic Numbering for Details in Plotmaker

We have setup our maser layout as a grid, however when we import our details with the title types attached they are not numbered, I am sure there must be a setting that I am not using. Please Help.

(also, ensure that you have 'Append Titles to newly placed Drawings' set under Options>Preferences>Miscellaneous and that your book/subsets/layouts are indeed being numbered (check the settings for each . . .). your title type will also need to include the value <DRAWINGNUMBER> ("Undefined Drawing Number") )

I have all these settings the titles do appear with the drawings but they just don't get numbered which is very strange. I do have the automatic text correct too.?

your drawings each have the setting in the screenshot below? which title type are you using?

This post has been very helpful in adjusting my firm's titles -- I'm glad I found it.

Continuing the idea...

When I use the Autotext <DRAWINGNUMBER>, the number that appears on the drawing does not refer to the grid I have on the master layout ("A12", for example). It just numbers the drawings sequentiallly ("1", "2", and so on).

How can I get it to auto number according to the grid of the Master Layout?
