Automatic Numbering on Layouts

Anonymous
Not applicable
In Plotmaker 9 Layout Settings dialogue box there are the following options:

"Do Not Include This Layout in Numbering"
"Use Automatic Book & Sunset Numbering"
"Custom"

I cannot find these same options in AC10.

How can i set up a layout so that it is NOT included in the numbering sequence?

Thank you!

Select the layout in your Navigator. Click the "Settings" button at the bottom of the Navigator.

The settings dialog is nearly identical to Plotmaker's.

thanks Tom for the reply but I am still having problems.

In AC10, selecting the layout in Navigator then clicking 'Settings' brings up a dialogue box with the following options:

"Do not include this Layout in ID sequence"

"Use Automatic Book and Subset ID Assignment"

"Custom ID"

This appears to be the same as options in Plotmaker 9.0 but these options only seem to pertain to the ID sequence or assignment and not the layout numbering order.

Checking or unchecking "Do not include this Layout in ID sequence" in AC10 has no bearing on whether the layout is included in the layout book automatic sheet numbering sequence.

I still cannot get AC10 to NOT include a layout in the automatic sheet numbering sequence.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Figured out a solution in case anyone would like to know.

Use Auto-Text "Layout ID" rather than 'Layout Number". This allows you to have control over whether layout is counted in numbering sequence and also allows for custom text.

Same here.
After 4 queries to our Sydney Tech office (no solution there!), we just placed ALL the autotext choices to see what was different.
GS would be congratulated if they could at least publish the "name changes" alone. ':x'
