I can't understand why anyone would want some big ugly label blocking important stuff on the drawing.

How do you get the embeded detail to work in 23? If I save the builder dimension 23.gsm out then the 23 label tool says it is not a valid label.

The instructions in the other thread make no sense. If I export the selected object it saves it as a gsm. The instructions say to add it in the library manager. The library manager only loads an lcf file. What exactly do I do with the gsm file to make 23 use it?

It can be the folder that you saved the object and macro into.
According to the other post there should be a macro as well that you have exported.
If you just want to add a single file you select the Embedded Library then go into the Embedded Library tab.
There you will have an option to add individual files.
