Dimension fonts not correctly aligned. Cut off. Archicad 26 build 5002

We recently applied the lastest Archicad 26 Update.. 5002 and have noticed that the alignment of all dimension text is below the dimension line and cut off.

It is only the case with certain fonts (including our standard font). When I change the font to arial the is no problem.

I don't have that particular font.

But I did try with others and found there is a problem with some fonts.

I would consider this a bug.

I know Graphisoft change the font engine (or what ever you call it) in 26.

This broke text positioning when you opened older version files in 26.

That was fixed in update 5002, and from what I have tested seems to be fine now.

But I was not looking at all fonts in dimensions.

I will report this as a bug to tech support.

You should also do the same by reporting it through your local Archicad support.

Totally different problem to the text moving.

Yours is being cut off.

What is the screen scaling factor in your operating system settings?

Just as I suspected - 125%.

Archicad does not like 125% scaling factor.

Set it to 100% - you may need to restart Archicad (or even the machine) to see the effect.

You have a standard resolution of 1920 x 1080.

If you have a tiny display and need it enlarged, you will be better of with a scaling factor of 100% and set your resolution to a smaller value.

Of course this will affect all programs.

So if you like it like this for everything else (i,e you must have 125%), you can go into the properties of the Archicad.exe program file, and tell it to ignore display scaling.

ArchiCAD 26 5002 is too problematic. I can't use it on my computers unfortunately.

If you have amended your system scaling and you are having other issues, please feel free to start a separate post for each problem, or follow on in an existing post relating to that problem.

I won't say there are no problems at all, but it shouldn't be 'too problematic'.
