Door and Window markers only showing on SOME walls in plan view?

Hello,

I have spent the last few days working on door and window schedules for multiple projects with good success. Today, I opened another project to do the same and am finding that the door and window label markers are only showing on doors and windows in SOME walls? In some walls, they appear as they should yet on other walls in the same plan view, they do not show up. The walls are the same composite, the same layer etc... and the windows are the same as well...??? I don't understand why... is there a wall-specific setting that would trigger the door/window label marker to NOT show in plan view? 

This has me scratching my head... and pulling my hair out!

A colleague just suggested that it could be a renovation filter causing the issue - which it was... Issue solved.
