Duplicate (and not) Self-placing Drawings

I can't find anyone else who has described this problem. I opened a file this morning that I have been working on for well over a year--started in 9, converted to 10. I've never had any problems with it, nor has this ever occured in other files. I was flipping through the layout book and on 4 of the 25 or so sheets were duplicate drawings to the ones long ago placed on the sheets. On another sheet was an extra drawing, though not a duplicate of the placed drawing on that sheet. It was a drawing from another sheet in the set. Anyone else experienced this weirdness?
