Or open your original project and delete any job specific modelling and notes.
Keep bits you might use again like the title block, standard notes, layout pages (and master layouts), as well as section and elevation markers.
Now save it as a new file called "template" (or what ever you want to call it) and there you go.
You now have a standard template you can use for all new jobs.
Of course you will change it over time or as you develop you new jobs just go through this process again deleting the job specific model and saving it as you template again.
