Forcing dimensions above dimension line

Anonymous
Not applicable
Hi,

Is it possible to adjust a setting in order to force all dimensions to sit above the dimension line?

I am finding that even when dimensioning a 240mm thick wall the dimension will sit on the dimension line not above the dimension ticks. I then have to manually find the node and move the text above the ticks. I know that reducing the size of the text sometimes forces the text between the ticks but it becomes too hard to read.

Thanks

Michael.

It is not possible to force it like that, but the good news is in AC 9 you can just click the Dimension Text and ArchiCAD will find it and select it (when in Quick Selection mode). Also, the handle of the Dimension Text is visible the same way the four corners of Text Block are visible (when set so in Display Options).
