How are slopes/falls shown in the US?

Hi,

 

In Australia we use ratios, percentages and angles for slopes/falls in wet area/rooms, roofs, etc

 

Wondering how Architects in the US document slopes of wet area/room floor, roofs etc. After a little research it is typically done as fractional inches per foot or percentage. Is that correct?
