How represent roof line as dashed when under another overlapping roof and as solid when not under another roof? Thank you for any help

There is automatic feature for that on floor plan. It works only for beams located under the slab.
You need to draw dashed lines (i.e. hidden part of roof) manually with a line or polyline.
Choose cover fill for your roof, that hidden part of the overlapped roof would not be visible.
