Maintaining consistency across multiple views in Archicad doesn't have to be time-consuming. Instead of setting each view individually, you can use the Pickup Parameters tool to effortlessly copy and replicate view settings.
Follow this guide to streamline your workflow!
How to Copy and Apply View Settings
Select the View to Copy From
- Navigate to the tab of the view you want to replicate.
- Right-click on the tab and choose Pick Up View Settings.
The Pickup Parameters tool copies settings from one view and applies them to another. It identifies and transfers all compatible settings, such as:
- Layer combinations
- Scale
- Structural display
- Pen sets
Apply the Settings to Another View
- Go to the tab of the target view.
- Right-click on its tab and select Inject View Settings.
The new settings will be applied automatically.
Save the Updated View
- To ensure the new setup isn't lost, right-click the tab again and select Save as View.
Missing Elements in a View?
If elements appear differently or are missing between views, this method can help align settings, ensuring all elements are visible and styled consistently
