Interior dimensions on kitchen drawing

Help, I am teaching myself how to use archicad so I can use it to plan our house renovation. I have drawn up our kitchen but I'm unsure how to get the dimensions of all the cupboards etc to show on the plan.

I have tried some tutorials and the automatic interior dimensioning tool but it doesn't seem to add the correct dimensions.

The interior and exterior automatic dimensioning commands are really only suitable for walls, doors and windows.
To dimension objects such as kitchen cabinets you will need to manually place your dimensions with the dimension tool.
