Is there a way to hide a composite core?

I want to have a 3D view in which I can see only my composites' finishes but I cant seem to be able to find a way to do it. Has anybody ever done it? or is it even possible to do it?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to do.

I think this has been wished for before.

And I agree, we should be able to display or hide any of the Skin Types in any combination.
