Label Leader Line

The leader line in a label object is generally too long for me. I know you can adjust the leader length after placement but this is tedious on occasion. Is there a way to edit the default length?

same issue here, anyone knows a solution.
Leaders are much more easy in Autocad.....

You can adjust the Label as you place it with if you select Detail from the Pop Up.
Sadly I don't think this is an option for automatically placed labels.

Thanks for that. It certainly solves the problem. Just goes to show that you need to explore EVERY button, option, drop down, and menu.
