Layout letters and numbers

While dancing in the California rain, my brain must have gotten a soaking.
I can't seem to remember how turn off the layout edge letters and numbers.
I checked the layout's "Master" of course, don't have grids turned on for this layout's master and hopefully it's going to keep raining for a while, so help would be appreciated.
Once again, as always it seems, these things pop up against a deadline.
Attached is the upper left corner of the layout.

Water finally drained from my head.
They where artifacts left over from my modified AMT template layout master.
Unlock layer and deleted them.
