I am preparing documentation for a multiple dwelling development.
My project file contains site model and i have modeled the different dwelling types and saved them as multiple-storey module files that i then placed on the site, adjusting base level as required to suit site levels.
With regard to floor level dimensions, i've placed them in the dwelling type model and saved into the module. However, i am finding that the level dimension in the placed modules appears to reflect that of the original model and not reflecting changes in elevation when placed.
The workaround is to place a level dimension on each of the placed modules; i've tested this and the levels reflect the varying floor levels, however, with approx. 40 dwellings involved, its a bit of a pain, especially if each time changes are made to setouts/levels they have to be checked and adjusted.
Am i missing something here? i had assumed level dimensions would change relative to project origin and associated element (i.e. slab). BTW this is in AC14.
