Edit: sorted out. archicad have not been following the setting and had to repeat a few times before it applied it... (MacBook user)
Hi! there have been similar topic made by me, sort of resorted but not really
For example... I create the interior elevations as they should be and look good in project map. Before adding into view map, all is good... the layers looks good, the pens looks good etc. Once they are added into the View map, they completely automatically change the look (layer and pen combination compare to HOW I had my setting when I added them). Making me all manually re-do it....
The point why I actually am doing all of this is because when I add the interior elevations into layouts, I want them to be added into beautifully organized layout grid, where they are CROPPED automatically so they have all same size and I don't have to manually resize and reposition all the time. But - I am unable to do this?....
What I did in setting:
1. View map (view setting > zooming> fit in window).
2. Master layout setting (master > master layout setting > auto arrange set up) - I added 0" margin everywhere for now so I can test it..
But when I add it in layout with that master setting, they still come out NOT cropped ... Exactly the setting I did not choose ...all I need is to fit Inside of the layout within the grid, and I need it to be cropped. ].
When I adjust the scale (yes it comes smaller but it still is not cropped, making it look different sizing)
I don't know what else to do, this feel extremely time consuming. Please help

Before placing the Views as Drawings on Layouts, go to the Drawing Settings Dialog.
In the "Frame" panel, do you have the "Fit Frame to Drawing" option selected? That should be the default setting, so all newly placed Drawings use it.

Yes I did, it’s there but isn’t working for me… for the elevations specifically for some reason there is “anotherrrrr” setting and so several things have to happen for it to even work. Not sure why it had to be that complicated ….
View map (view setting > zooming> fit in window).

Does un-ticking the 'Ignore Zoom' option help in the view settings?
Then ensure the view is updated with the zoom that you want.
