PDF Portrait or Landscape?

When I set up PDF files of drawings there is either the option to set at landscape or portrait. When selecting landscape as in normal printing the PDF file created is actually in portrait. When the PDF is saved (printed) in portrait it gets set up on landscape??? Also when set in portrait the files have a spare blank drawing between each drawing. Can anybody advise how to get these settings correct. I love the PDF option for sending to clients, other consultants, archiving, etc.
Thanks,

If you can't find any other solution with your existing software, you can also generate PDF files with GhostScript. It's free, but not as easy to install or use. Take a look at http://www.cs.wisc.edu/~ghost/

Hi Djordje,
Yes it using the Amyuni PDF printer supplied with AC. I use A1 size mostly and the problem is with this size. As you are suggesting some other sizes seem ok, eg A4. Must be a glitch with the sizing.

Hi Ralph,
Thanks for the link to GhostScript. I will give it a go and see how it works.
