Hello

Is it possible to open only part of a ArchiCAD 10 file? A partial open.
Not while in Teamwork.

Apparently you could do this in another version.

_Is it possible to open one storey on a large project so that the file you load is smaller and therfore will be easier and faster for the computer._

I've never heard of such a feature.

How is a Module a partial open? That's a compleltely separate file.

How is a Module a partial open? That's a completely separate file.

It's not a partially open file but it is a partially open project in a sense. It answers the question:

"Is it possible to open one storey on a large project so that the file you load is smaller and therefore will be easier and faster for the computer?"

It's a more accurate answer to "Can I create an external file in advance that's a copy of part of the actual project?"

Without making the MOD in advance, there's not a way to open just one story. Plus, any changes to the MOD would not be reflected in the original file.
