Also if the model changes i have to go to each saved render and re-render each one?

Save a 3D View like you would save any view.
From the Project map, select the Generic Perspective from the 3D heading
(I'm assuming it's a perspective view).
Be sure to set "Generate in:" to Photorendering Window.
Place the saved view (from the View map) to a layout.
The view can be set to manually or automatically update on the layout.
Make sense?

Pretty sure it will re-render every time you go to that layout, so you should probably set it to manually update.

Thanks! I will try that! Because I was running out of time I just saved the renders to disk and then drag n drop them to my layout.

It is probably better to do this then saving it internally as then you have access to the renders for other documents, post work and such.
