Hi, unfortunately none of my plans (pdf and directly printed from archicad) print properly after change to new Laptop and Windows 11. The pdf looks fine but does not print properly (everything is zickzack and there are nearly no colors visible).
Printer is HP OfficejetPro 7740.
Everything else prints fine. The problem occures only with printing from archicad and printing archicad pdfs.
Is there any help?
I tried:
Updating printer software
Removing and adding printer
Print Doctor
Calibrate printer
Thank you for help

Do you have the opportunity to still print the same PDF (that you say looks fine) from your old laptop, or another machine that was working OK?
If the PDF prints OK, you know it is a problem with your Windows 11/printer divers setup.

Hi, that was my work around exactly to get the stuff done. Meanwhile I uninstalled Archicad and reinstalled, but it did not solve the problem.
Any other pdf prints all right…
I have no more ideas.

OK, let's clarify the problem.
You don't say what version of Archicad you are using.
Also make sure you have the latest update installed.
If you create a PDF with this Archicad on the Windows 11 machine, the PDF looks OK but will not print from that machine as you have said.
If you take the exact same PDF and print it from another machine (windows 10), it prints OK?
If that is the case, then I suggest it is not a problem with Archicad or the PDF.
If it doesn't print from the other machine, then there is a problem with the PDF, but what that might be, who knows.
Is it just this one file, or is it the same for any file you try?
Can you print something simple like just a piece of text or a single wall?
Do you have another version of Archicad on the Windows 11 machine.
Does that create PDFs that you can print or can you print directly from Archicad with that?
Do PDFs created on another machine print from your Windows 11 machine.
If so, I would say it is not a problem with the printer drivers.
Barry.
