Problem Editing Object Dimensions

Anonymous
Not applicable
When I attempt to edit the dimensions of an object (like a base cabinet), my numeric entry reverts to an entry selected by the program. For example, revising a 1'6"W cabinet to 1'0"W, the program quickly reverts to 1'3 3/4".

This occurs even if I attempt to create a new object from scratch rather than editing an existing object.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Are you typing the dimension into the object setting/info box or are you using the tracker or the co-ordinate palette?

Also what version of Archicad are you using.
Best to add that and your operating system to your signature which you can add in the PROFILE link at the top of the forum.

I've tried modifying both the object setting/info box and the coordinate palette without success. I'm not familiar with the tracker.

Thanks.

OK just trying to work out where you are trying to change the dimensions.
Can you show a screen shot of what you are trying to change - preferably a before and after shot.

I am wondering if the object is set to use only specific sizes - i.e. it has a minimum width.
Is it just one object you are having trouble with (which one) or is it all objects?
