Profile manager tool

Hi there, I'm using the profile manager tools. I don't know how to remove the rectangular inside the shape. I'm going to have a rectangular hole in the middle of the shape.

Draw a fill for the outer shape.

You seem to have done that OK.

Now draw polylines for the inner shape.

You could also just draw another fill - but more on that later.

Select the outer fill and use the pet palette option to remove an area.

Magic wand on the polylines.

Job done.

If you use another fill for the inner 'hole' then you still do the same thing.

It will create a hole in the outer fill, but you will still have the original inner fill that you need to select and delete.

Just don't select the hole and delete that, make sure you delete the original fill, not the hole you just created.
