Publishing half-size sets in AC15

Hi,
I want to be able to one-click publish pdf sets at 50% of their original size, but can't figure out how, or where the control for this might be. Earlier posts similar to this topic are of no use, and don't ask why, as the boss wants to send half-size sets to clients frequently, that they can print to scale.

You can do it a couple of ways.

I don't know your office methodology, but I usually save (multi-page) PDF's of all drawings I send to clients. They are created to print @ full scale on the correct size paper (1/4" scale on 24" x 36" paper, for example).

If I want to print them at 50% (1/8" scale), I open the PDF's in Reader (not Apple's Preview) and select, a previously created, custom paper size: 12" x 18" (that's 50% of 24" x 36").

From the print dialog, open page setup and change the scale to 50%.

Print, trim* and your done.

*12" x 18" sheets are sent to my 24" paper roll printer.
I have to trim 6" off each 12" x 24" sheet.

Another way to do it, is to create a custom setup in Publisher.

I use this to print directly to the printer without first creating the PDFs.

You'll still need to create a custom paper size.

In Publisher, Format> "page setup"> select your paper size and set the scale to 50%.

In "Print Options", resize should be 100% (fit to page or custom) and use the "Layout margins".

When I do it this way, I turn on a text block that reads (in red)
Drawings Reduced 50%, Scale: 1/8" = 1'-0"

Something is messed up with my paper margins (thus the 3 red lines in the arrangement preview window)
