It is fine in plan view, but in sections and 3d, the pen colour comes from model view options, attributes of 'Schematic' or 'Simplified'. The pen colours from model view options overwrite the pen colour of renovation filter.
It is also fine if model view options is set to 'Full', where you cant change the attributes. But I dont want it full at all times. Please help !

Well, I call it buggy. Yes, it poorly designed. To be honest, I don't understand - who is designing GDL objects in Graphisoft. I think libraries can be much-much better then they are.

Yes, railing is still very buggy. There is nothing you can do apart of programming on GDL your own railing to avoid these errors.

I don't think this is buggy, I think it is behaving as expected.
When Railings are set to 'Schematic' or 'Simplified', it is using the Pen and Surface defined in the MVO Dialog, and it is stronger than the Reno Filter override. I think this is by design.
