Rebuliding sections - UREGNT

I would like to explode my model in section, while I would operate just with lines and fills (it's easier way to correct mistakes for me), but when I click rebuild nothing happens. What am I doing wrong?

Set your sections to Drawing. Then drag a COPY of the elevation a set distance away. If you edit the original section linework, when you rebuild the section from the model than you will lose all your edits.

Instead,edit any of the line work of the COPY as this will not affect the model.
If you are really EXPLODING the section, you may have blown up the model
