is it possible to trace the same floor but with different renovation filter applied in order to spot the differences?

Hi,

Yes. Simply create a view with preferred renovation filter, then you can use that view as a trace reference even for a view with different renovation filter applied.

Attached you can find an example of such situation with old windows being demolished (blue reference) and replaced by new ones (with different reveal for example).
