My CW is set to renovation status "new" in the first folder but I cant get the panels and frames to get the "new" status...so nothing shows up in my nice and shiny "New" ArchiCAD template....

So you are setting renovation status for individual panels? Does that even work?

I would expect you to be able to only set renovation status for entire curtain wall element.

I set it for the whole CW but the individual parts are stuck with existing status. It has something to do with the fact that we took our 20 template and migrated it to 21 instead of creating a new from scratch. Our template os quite extensive and different from GS Sweden template so we'd rather not make a new from scratch for each release. GS support is on it anyway...It's the same with railing components... weird.

I dislike the CW tool, personally. It sort of works for like the initial design stages, but once you want to get serious about it, it starts falling apart and failing on many levels.

I also feel like it hasn't been developed much beyond it's initial release in ArchiCAD12 (I think it was?).

Some of the things work great though. Being able to extract the boundary to a fill, changing the fill and then change the CW based on that is a nice way for some quick drafting in early stages.

I like it a lot for ceiling . GS just confirmed my proble is because of a bug. If I add show existing to my Show new only renovation set it works...sigh...
