Roof/Wall trimming issues

What is causing this issue? I use the connect tool to trim walls to roofs and occasionally it creates a void in the roof plane where the wall intersections. I am attaching an image

Is your wall building material stronger then the roof building material?
If so the wall will cut through the roof.
For this reason I still prefer to use Solid Element Operations for walls and roofs.

Could be a Layer Intersection Group problem. See if this GS Help Section gives you a solution.
