Transparent Railings

Dear Community, 

I was trying to make these type of railing into Elevation. Railings is made by a material, no matter what I tried I can't make it transparent.

P.s Transparency is ON. 
I would like to make the Railing to be shown just like the hatch is, but I just can't achieve it.

Anyone has an Idea it would be really helpfull.

Set the used railing surface transparency 51% or more, and the elevation settings be transparency  on. (Under 50 % will be solid)

Thanks Mr. Turit, 

It did work, but the problem is that in 3D it shows like a glass now. Because I wanted full transparency, and not just for the lines.
