Unable to publish DWG files so that preview is enabled...

...in windows explorer.

OS in question is windows 7 Pro 64 bit.

We have installed Autocad DWG truview 2012 64bit - this allows us with many DWGs (sent to us by clients or sub contractors) to preview DWGs (using thumbnails and the preview pane) in Windows Explorer.

However, we have been unable to figure out what the issue is with the DWGs we publish from Archicad as the preview feature does not work. I have already read that unless the dwg itself has preview mode(?) enabled when published, you cannot preview the DWG in explorer.

We have tried ticking 'enable partial open' in translation setup with no success, could someone assist with the translator setup so that we can preview our own drawings? Kind regards. Dan.

The dwg's published by ArchiCAD do not have embedded thumbnails and I do not believe the dwg engine used by ArchiCAD can produce / embed thumbnails

Only way I can see to create thumbnails is to open drawings in Trueview and save
