Wrong References In PM

Anonymous
Not applicable
We have a rather large project that has five PLN file linked to it. There is one main model file, and several detail files.

In PM we have imported a view that has a section marker in it (call it view "A"). The view the section marker creates is on the same layout as the view with the marker (call it view "B"). However, the numbers chosen by PM for the section marker point to an entirely different detail from a different PLN on a different layout (call it view "C"). When the layout containing view "C" is moved to the bottom of the list in the PM navigator, the section marker points to another incorrect view from the wrong PLN on yet another layout (call it view "D"). Moving the layout with view "D" on it to the bottom of the PM navigator finally yields the results we are looking for -- the section marker in "A" points to view "B". Putting the either of the layouts with view "C" or "D" on them back to their proper position makes the section marker wrong again.

I have checked all the views in question, and none of the view names match each other, none of the reference numbers are the same, none of the basic names (in the Project Map) are the same, and -- as pointed out earlier -- the wrong views aren't even in the same PLN file. We tried deleting the 'wrong' views and reinserting them, but the section marker still insists on pointing to the wrong views.

This isn't the first time we have had this problem. Is anybody else experiencing this? What am I missing?
